As another incredible year of creating connected communities nears an end, HBNC took time to celebrate and acknowledge the remarkable work of our staff, volunteers and partners.

HBNC’s AGM and End-of-Year Celebration was an evening filled with music, delicious food, and reflections on the year gone by.

The evening started with live music from local musician, Jon Vea Vea, who then joined a community choir for a special song set to the tune of House of the Rising Sun.

The song featured moving lyrics expressing heartfelt thanks for HBNC’s positive impact in the community.

Food, prepared by HBNC Kitchen Supervisor Kay Halford and a team of volunteers, was worthy of a fine dining restaurant.

The night also served as HBNC’s AGM, with new management committee members elected, and the Annual Social Impact Report officially released.
