We are the children of Hervey Bay Kindergarten, aged between 3 and 5 years old. This year, we've developed a strong love for art and creativity! Our days are spent outdoors in nature - at our Beach and Bush Kindy sites, or in the play spaces at Hervey Bay Kindy.
Art is a big part of our daily program. We learn about artists and techniques, and create our own masterpieces using a wide range of materials. We have dedicated art spaces we use every day-painting at easels, making box collages, drawing with pens on clipboards, or joining art lessons in our intentional teaching space.
Our creative journey includes painting, drawing, clay work, sensory play with colours, playdough, collage, photography, chalk art, and building sculptures with Lego and blocks. Every day is a new opportunity to explore and express ourselves through art!
