In this special edition of Nathan's Corner, Nathan shares his inspiring thoughts on what Easter means to him.

Easter is more than just a date on the calendar—it is a sacred invitation to pause, reflect, and be transformed.

It begins in solemn silence on Good Friday and blooms into radiant joy on Easter Sunday.

These days are not merely historical; they are deeply spiritual milestones that mirror the human journey from pain to peace, from sorrow to hope, from sacrifice to renewal.

In the community of late, we have witnessed many sacrifices, with locals experiencing hardships of different kinds.

Easter, like Christmas, is a time for reflection and gratitude.

Good Friday is about sacrifice - how we give over our burdens, grievance, and guilt.

Easter Sunday is about renewal - how we are washed clean and forgiven.

Some members of the community are currently holding on to a lot of burdens, grievances and guilt.

In a few days’ time, they will be acknowledged, and a sense of a renewed, grateful spirit will emerge.

Even in our darkest moments, there is always a light that quietly waits to guide us home.

Hope is never truly gone—it flickers like a candle through the storm, reminding us that better days will come.

Love, too, finds its way into the coldest seasons of our lives, wrapping us gently in warmth when we feel most alone.

We are not defined by what we have lost, but by how we rise, how we love, and how we let go.

Life may bruise us, but it also offers grace. Trust the journey.

There is light behind every shadow, warmth behind every chill, and healing in every wound that dares to open.

As we move through this season, may we open our hearts to its message.

May we find the courage to release what no longer serves us, the grace to forgive, and the faith to believe that even in our darkest hours, light is coming.
