About us News HBNC partners with Fraser Coast Mates to launch Breakthrough Boxes for World Mental Health Day In recognition of World Mental Health Day on Thursday, October 10, HBNC is excited to announce its partnership with Fraser Coast Mates to launch the Breakthrough Boxes, a new initiative designed to provide essential support and resources for individuals facing mental health challenges. David Sutherland, HBNC staff member and designer of the initiative, said the Breakthrough Boxes were thoughtfully curated collections containing local information on mental health support services, along with merchandise aimed at promoting wellbeing and resilience. "These boxes serve as a tangible reminder that help is available and that no one is alone in their struggles," David said. Darren Bosley, President of Fraser Coast Mates, said the organisation's goal was to empower individuals within our community by providing easy access to valuable resources and support. "The Breakthrough Boxes are a step towards fostering an environment where mental health is openly discussed and prioritised," Darren said. For a contribution of $20 via the HBNC website, community members can purchase a Breakthrough Box, which not only provides them with valuable resources but also allows HBNC to donate a free box to someone in need.
