The magic of the festive season is returning for its third year with the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre again delivering the Christmas Lights Wonderland in the Botanic Gardens for 2025.

Now a highlight of the Fraser Coast calendar, this dazzling display continues thanks to the generous ongoing sponsorship of the Hervey Bay Boat Club. We also extend thanks again to Paton’s Electrical for their expertise and support in lighting up our wonderland, and to the Fraser Coast Regional Council for their continued partnership in helping create an enchanting community experience.

Macy's Inspired Christmas Windows

The New Dinoland Exhibit

This year promises even more festive fun, with two exciting new exhibits joining the display: Dinoland, where prehistoric magic meets Christmas sparkle, and an expanded Giant Elf Hunt, featuring delightful new dioramas inspired by the famous Macy’s Christmas windows. Our volunteer Christmas elves have started their workshops this week in partnership with the Hervey Bay Women’s Shed to create these new attractions.

CEO for HBNC, Tanya Stevenson said, “The Christmas Lights Wonderland is more than just a light display, it’s a celebration of community spirit, creativity, and connection. We invite everyone to come along, share in the wonder, and make cherished holiday memories together”.
