At the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre (HBNC), our work is only possible because of the unwavering support of our local community. This month, we proudly recognise the Hervey Bay RSL as a longstanding and valued partner whose generosity continues to create real change for those in need.

Through their consistent monthly contribution, the Hervey Bay RSL plays a crucial role in the success of our Comfort Kitchen program. Held weekly, Comfort Kitchen offers more than just a warm, nutritious meal—it provides companionship, dignity, and a sense of belonging to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. The RSL’s support ensures that these evenings remain a place of connection and kindness.

In addition, we are sincerely grateful for their recent sponsorship of the Col Pearce Corporate Triathlon. This exciting community event not only raised awareness but also vital funds for HBNC’s Youth Mentoring Program. This program supports young people across the Fraser Coast by pairing them with positive role models and helping them build the confidence and skills they need to thrive.

From providing a hot meal to investing in the next generation, Hervey Bay RSL’s commitment to HBNC reflects a shared belief in compassion, collaboration, and community. Their support empowers us to continue responding to the evolving needs of our region and ensures no one is left behind.
