My aim is to show how cows care for each other, and how they form close bonds. They form lifetime friendships and grieve for each other when a member of their herd dies or is sent away. To me they embody the spirit of non-violence with their peacefulness and gentle spirit. I try to represent these qualities in my paintings by communicating their interaction and affection for each other. The gentle nature of cows encourages patience and resilience. Such qualities encourage us to be part of nature rather than apart from it.
