Ana enjoyed painting her mural and learning how to draw a turtle with our visiting artist LeeLee. She wanted to paint a picture of a turtle because she loves them. She has a memory of seeing a real turtle near the boat club once. She decided to paint small flowers covering the turtles shell because they are her favourite and something else that she loves. Ana loves the ocean and always feels at home there. Being near the water give her a sense of belonging and makes her feel calm and happy, and she hopes that anyone who views her artwork experiences the same sense of peace and joy.
