Core Connection: Matwork Pilates
Reconnect with your body through mindful movement in this slower-paced, technical Pilates class. You’ll learn how to engage and strengthen your core muscles, then apply that connection through functional, flowing sequences.

Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that builds strength, improves posture, flexibility, and enhances body awareness. This class focuses on control and precision—not repetition or intensity—so you can move with intention, connect to your breath, and build strength from the inside out.

Perfect for beginners, this class welcomes anyone aged 15+ who can comfortably move between floor positions (back, side, front, kneeling) and get up and down from the mat with ease.

Please note: This is a general Pilates class and is not suitable for pregnancy, recent injuries, or post-surgery recovery. 

When: Wednesdays, 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Where: Urangan Community Wellness Centre, Elizabeth St (opposite Miller St)
Cost: FREE
Bring: Yoga mat and a cushion for comfort

Please note: Parking is limited at the Urangan Community Wellness Centre, please allow time to park in adjoining streets (e.g. Miller St, Dayman St) and walk to the Centre. There is a 2hr Parking Limit on Elizabeth St and you may be fined for overstaying that limit.
