What's on Paws & People - Paws in the Park Paws in the Park is a relaxed, social dog walk designed to bring people and their pets together in a friendly, welcoming environment. Held at Dayman Park Beach, this casual walk is the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the fresh coastal air, and connect with other dog owners in the community. Whether your dog is energetic and social or prefers a slower pace, all are welcome. Council staff and volunteers will be onsite throughout the event, offering support, answering questions, and sharing practical advice on pet enrichment, behaviour, and everyday care. It’s a great chance to learn simple ways to support your dog’s wellbeing while enjoying a laid-back outing together. There’s no pressure, no structure, just a chance to walk, chat, and spend quality time with your dog by your side. Bring your dog, a lead, water, and everything you need for a comfortable walk. Paws & People is proudly brought to you by HBNC, Fraser Coast Regional Council, and K9 Socialisation & Training. This event is part of the HBNC’s Local Learning Network, a series of courses and workshops aimed at introducing Fraser Coast residents to new ideas, skills and friends. This event is Supported by the Australian Government Department of Social Services
